The unsubscribe plugin from Webpower

Certainly since the introduction of the GDPR on 25 May 2018, the unsubscribe link has become an absolute requirement within the applicable regulations. The unsubscribe link and the unsubscribe process can be easily settled within Webpower. Use the unsubscribe plugin.

What does the unsubscribe plugin do?
The unsubscribe plugin offers contacts the possibility of unsubscribing for emails from the sender, in a small number of steps. If you use multiple campaigns, the recipient (if desired) can specify for each campaign which campaign emails het wishes to receive and which emails he does not wish to receive.

How do I set the unsubscribe plugin?
To access the unsubscribe plugin, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the tab page ‘content’
  2. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on ‘system pages’
  3. Select the plugin die ‘unsubscribe’

By double clicking on the unsubscribe page (or selecting ‘edit’) you can edit the settings. Here for example you can change the template or language. You can also make the plugin ‘linkable’ (recommended). This makes it possible to link to the page from emails. You can also offer recipients the possibility of temporarily unsubscribing, or to edit their data. If a campaign is linked to a brand, you can also unsubscribe for the brand. Another option offered by the unsubscribe plugin is to send a confirmation of unsubscription. If this is not wanted, leave this option flush. Finally, you can keep a record of why the contact unsubscribed. You can include an intro with reasons for unsubscribing, from which the contact can select. Note: use a new line for each reason. The specified reason appears with the contact in question. Check the contact’s ‘history’.
