Copying database fields from another campaign

When creating a specific campaign for which no overall database applies, no database fields will have been created. This means that they still have to be added. Because copying database fields from another campaign to your new campaign can save a great deal of time, we have created an option for this purpose within Webpower.

Take the following steps:

• Go to setup > campaigns
• Select the new campaign
• Click on the icon: copy field definition
• Select the campaign from which you wish to use the database fields, and press OK

The database fields will now be copied to the campaign.

Good to know:

• You can only copy the fields if there are not yet any database fields in the campaign.
• If the source database fields are translated into other languages, these translations will also be copied.
• If you do not use all languages in the new campaign, the translation will be stored by Webpower up to the moment that you change the fields. Webpower only automatically records new values. For example: at first there were 4 languages in the source campaign. In the new campaign, only 2 of the 4 are activated. Initially, all 4 translations will be copied. If you process the database field and alter the description in the 2 languages, then Webpower will only store the 2 languages in question.
